The 'Most 40-HR MLB seasons' quiz

Heading into Game 3 of the NLCS, the Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves in an unfamiliar spot trailing 2 games to none. While they boast a lineup full of stars, their biggest has struggled so far this postseason.

Shohei Ohtani, who has labored at the plate since returning from bicep and knee injuries in late September, is hitting just .150 with no extra-base hits or RBI in six Playoff games. But despite his offensive woes, manager Dave Roberts said he has no plans to bench the four-time MVP.

“I did talk to Sho. He’s adamant; he feels good enough to be in there,” Roberts told the media ahead of Game 3.

“He’s close to finding something with his swing, and I feel great about it.”

Struggling or not, Roberts would be hard-pressed to bench the three-time reigning National League MVP for any reason other than being physically unable to swing a bat as they try to avoid falling in a 3-0 hole to Milwaukee.

Blake Snell is the latest stud scheduled to take the mound for the Dodgers in Game 3 as the series shifts to Chavez Ravine, while Milwaukee will hand the ball to Robert Gasser.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. While things haven’t looked good recently for Ohtani, his pedigree of two batting titles and four 40-homer seasons make him impossible to take out of the lineup. With that being said, can you name every MLB player with at least four 40-home run seasons?

Good luck!
