The 'Most lefty-homers in a season' quiz

Chicago Cubs star centerfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong is looking to become the first person to de-throne Shohei Ohtani as MVP since Aaron Judge did it in the American League in 2022. 

He added yet another bullet point to resume on Wednesday night, smashing his 43rd and 44th home runs of the season against the Atlanta Braves. The second of the night also moved him in front of Billy Williams for the Cubs single-season home run record by a left-handed batter. 

More importantly for Chicago fans was the 8-4 win as they try to hang onto the top wild-card spot in the National League. 

PCA is having an incredible season in pretty much every respect, batting .282, driving in 105 runs and stealing 37 bases to go with his 44 dingers with nine games left to play, racking up an MLB-best 9.6 Wins Above Replacement. His next milestone is the exclusive 40/40 club, which currently has just six members.
