There hasn’t been a repeat World Series champion since the New York Yankees’ three-peat from 1998-2000, but the Los Angeles Dodgers are four wins away from just that.
The Dodgers have waltzed their way into the Fall Classic, going 9-1 against the Reds, Phillies and Brewers in the National League bracket, and they’ve done it despite pedestrian numbers from last year’s World Series MVP, Freddie Freeman. Freeman is hitting just .231 in the 2025 postseason with a single home run and RBI and 11 strikeouts. The encouraging sign is that five of his nine hits have gone for extra bases, and he’s also drawn five walks.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. This time last year was defined by the heroics of Freeman, headlined by a walk-off grand slam in Game 1 against the New York Yankees. With that being said, can you name the MLB players with the most home runs in the World Series?
Good luck!
