It feels like it's only a matter of time before fans get the notification that long-time Cleveland Guardians ace, Shane Bieber, has been traded and finds a new home and team.
It wouldn't be the first time Cleveland traded away a star pitcher with over a year left on their contract. Trevor Bauer, Corey Kluber, and Mike Clevinger were all given this same treatment as their time in Cleveland came to an end.
Bieber isn't the pitcher he was in 2020 when he won the Cy Young in the shortened season. Specifically, his strikeout rate has fallen since then. But the former All-Star MVP still has an ERA of 3.57, 1.28 WHIP, and 55 strikeouts over his 13 starts this season proving to be a top-10 pitcher in baseball.

Zack Meisel of The Athletic indicated a long list of teams who may be interested in trading for Bieber. This list includes:
Unsurprisingly, this report does reveal quite a market for Bieber. The Guardians even have recent trade history with some of these teams, including the Mets, Padres, and Rangers.
Now the focus turns to the question of when does a deal get done?
