We head into the last weekend of August with a full MLB slate, and three pitchers are looking to be in particularly strong spots. A diversified batch is below that includes props for strikeouts, hits allowed and walks allowed.
Seattle's Bryce Miller is looking like a terrific option to back tonight, and rather than look to the Mariners' moneyline, Miller's hits allowed prop is the value spot to consider here.
Miller has allowed less than six hits 13 of his 18 starts this season, including three straight games. He's allowing just 4.1 hits per start at home this year, and that should continue here against a hapless Royals team. Kansas City hits righties at the third-worst rate this season, and only one team has a lower OBP against RHP than the Royals.
That's a recipe for a strong outing, so load up Miller's under on his hits allowed line.
Spencer Strider has been one of, if not the best strikeout pitchers this season. He's a massive reason for Atlanta's success, and at this price his K prop is once again looking inviting.
Strider has gone over this line in 72% of games this season and nine of his last 11 games. Tonight he's facing a San Francisco team that strikes out at the fifth-highest rate against RHP.
The Braves ace just saw the Giants a week ago and struck out 10. Five of the last seven starting righties to see San Francisco ended up going over their strikeout props.
Cleveland's Tanner Bibee has been cleaning up his accuracy issues of late. After walking 2+ batters in six straight games to begin his summer, the Guardians starter has walked just one batter in his past three starts.
One of those games was against the Toronto Blue Jays team that he's facing again tonight. Toronto walks at the ninth-lowest rate against right-handed pitching this season, so there's reason to believe Bibee can keep this clean streak rolling.
He's under this line in five of his last seven games, and we're getting plus-money on him doing it again.
