The MLB Winter Meetings are well underway, and we have already seen a flurry of action from them.
In recent days, trade rumors surrounding Houston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker have started to gain steam, and there have been a few teams mentioned as interested.
The Yankees and Cubs are amongst the teams with the most interest, and it will take quite a haul to pry Tucker away from Houston.

With Houston's desire to receive starting pitching and corner infielders in return for Tucker, the Cubs have several options with all those positions mentioned, so here is what an Astros-Cubs trade could look like:
Cubs receive: Kyle Tucker
Astros receive: 3B Isaac Paredes, SP Javier Assad, SP Jordan Wicks and CHC No. 12 prospect Cole Mathis
This deal gives Chicago a much-needed left-handed slugger and gives Houston a nice return.
Paredes was traded from Tampa Bay to Chicago at last season's trade deadline and was an All-Star in 2024. Wicks and Assad would give Houston depth in its rotation.
Mathis was the Cubs' second-round pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. He could be substituted out for another prospect in the Cubs system, but his ability to play both first and third base would be appealing for Houston.

The Yankees also have several options in their rotation, as well as options at the corner positions they would be willing to give up to acquire Tucker and replace Juan Soto. Here is what a Yankees-Astros trade could look like:
Yankees receive: Kyle Tucker
Astros receive: SP Luis Gil, SP Clarke Schmidt, 1B Ben Rice and Yankees No. 5 prospect Will Warren
For Houston, acquiring both Gil and Schmidt in a trade with New York would immediately improve its starting rotation.
Gil went 15-7 with a 3.50 ERA and won the 2024 American League Rookie of the Year. Schmidt and Rice have both shown flashes of being very good players. Warren could use a change of scenery, as he finished the 2024 season with a 10.32 ERA in just 22.2 innings pitched.

It feels that a trade could be coming at any moment during the remainder of the Winter Meetings, and it will be interesting to see if any teams besides the Cubs or Yankees swoop in at the last minute to acquire Tucker.
