Let's highlight some of the top games on Tuesday, July 29 action inside Major League Baseball. The two teams trailing the Toronto Blue Jays inside the AL East continue their series in the Bronx as the New York Yankees host the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Yankees (57-49) lost their fourth game in the last five tries in Monday's 4-2 home setback to the Rays (54-53).
It was a nice bounce-back for Tampa Bay, who was swept at Cincinnati this past weekend. Junior Caminero went deep for his 27th home run in the first inning to give the Rays a 2-0 lead.
After the Yankees tied it at 2-2 in the bottom of the first, the Rays scored a run in the fifth and eighth inning for the win.

Left-hander Max Fried takes the mound for New York on Tuesday. Fried (11-4, 2.62 ERA) has lost his last two starts to the Blue Jays and Cubs, allowing 10 runs in 8.1 innings of work.
Fried has been nearly untouchable in two starts against the Rays this season. The southpaw hasn't given up a run in nearly 15 innings of work, as the Yankees shut out Tampa Bay each time.
In six of Fried's last eight home starts, the Yankees and their opponents have combined for fewer than eight runs.
Best Bet: Rays/Yankees Under 8.5 (-120)
The Chicago Cubs (62-44) slipped into second place of the NL Central following Monday's 8-4 road loss to the Milwaukee Brewers (63-43).
The Brewers fell into a quick 3-0 hole after the first inning, but it was all Milwaukee after that. The Brew Crew scored four runs in the third inning and never looked back.
Things were capped off by a two-run shot from outfielder Christian Yelich to boost Milwaukee into first place.

The Brewers send out right-hander Quinn Priester (9-2, 3.28 ERA) to the hill, as he has not lost a decision since May 13 against Cleveland. Priester is coming off a pair of solid road starts, defeating the Dodgers and Mariners in his last two outings.
The Cubs counter with Colin Rea (8-4, 4.06 ERA), who looks to rebound after getting tagged for six runs in five innings of an 8-4 home defeat to Kansas City.
Chicago has won five of Rea's last six road starts, while the Cubs are 6-2 in their previous eight Game 2's of a series.
Best Bet: Cubs (+100)
