Twins sign RHP Chris Paddack to 3-year extension
Bruce Kluckhohn-USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Twins signed right-hander Chris Paddack to a three-year extension Wednesday through the 2025 season.

The team did not announce financial details. The New York Post reported last week that the deal is worth $12.5 million.

Paddack, 27, missed most of the 2022 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in May. He went 1-2 with a 4.03 ERA in five starts for the Twins prior to the injury. He's expected to return by August.

Paddack is 21-21 lifetime with a 4.20 ERA in 66 games (65 starts) for the San Diego Padres (2019-21) and Twins, who acquired Paddack from the Padres in April.
