In the eighth inning of the Reds' 6-1 victory over the Yankees at Great American Ball Park on Monday, Elly De La Cruz hit an opposite field home run for the first time in his career batting right-handed.
It was De La Cruz's team leading 18th home run of the season.
The 23-year-old is slashing .272/.348/.513 with 35 extra-base hits and 21 stolen bases this season.
