The Cincinnati Reds beat the San Diego Padres 3-2 on Sunday behind a Will Benson walk-off single in the ninth inning.

It was Benson's third hit on the day and came two batters after Spencer Steer tied the game by singling home Elly De La Cruz on a close play at the plate.

The Reds have now won their last eight series against non National League Central division opponents and have won six of their last seven series overall.
