Watch: Aroldis Chapman furiously slams glove despite inducing harmless fly ball

Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez almost connected on a three-run, go-ahead home run off of the southpaw, but his long fly ball fell just short of the wall, ending up at the beginning of the warning track.

Chapman — who's been known to have a short fuse in the past — eventually retired the side after allowing one hit and one walk to go with two strikeouts in his one inning of work. The seven-time All-Star earned his 11th hold of the season, helping the Pirates earn a 1-0 home victory.

The 36-year-old Chapman has had a rough start to his first season in Pittsburgh, holding a 0-3 record with a 4.43 ERA and a career-worst 1.87 WHIP while allowing four home runs and a whopping 24 walks over 20 1/3 innings pitched. Chapman surrendered four home runs total in each of the last two seasons.

Hernandez is off to a hot start in his first year with Los Angeles, currently tied for third in the National League in home runs (12) and tied for seventh in RBI (38).
