Watch: A's fan catches two HR balls

First, the fan snatched a Shea Langeliers two-run shot out of the air in the bottom of the seventh. Then, with the Rangers batting in the top of the eighth, the very same fan caught an Adolis Garcia grand slam, which seemed to be hit directly at him. 

It's unclear if the fan can hit or pitch, because the A's could use him. With Sunday's loss in the books, the A's have now dropped nine of their last 12 games, falling to an MLB-worst record of 9-33. 

This season, the A's performance on the field has been enough to repel fans. According to ESPN, the A's only 9,528 fans per home game, by far the lowest in all of MLB. 

Another obvious factor hurting attendance and the on-field product is the team's potential move from Oakland to Las Vegas. 

In April, the A's agreed to buy 49 acres of land from Red Rock Resorts to build a 30,000-seat stadium. However, last week, the A's plans changed. Now, the team plans to buy land occupied by the Tropicana on the Las Vegas Strip, per Front Office Sports.
