Watch: Astros' Yordan Álvarez Hits 435-Foot Game-Tying HR

Álvarez is one of the most feared hitters in baseball and has gotten off to a great start for the Astros this year, hitting .429 with two home runs and eight RBI at the time of this posting. 

He's coming off a year in which he hit 37 home runs and helped the Astros win the World Series. En route to the World Series title, he hit devastating home runs in both Game 1 and 2 of the American League Division series against the Mariners. He then popped a game-winning home run in Game 6 of the World Series against the Phillies.

He also hit 33 homers in 2021 and drove in 104 runs that year. 

Álvarez signed a six-year, $115 million contract before the 2022 season. He's still just 25 years old.

The Astros entered Monday's series opener with the Tigers at 2-2 overall after splitting the first four games of the year with the Chicago White Sox.
