Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr. was carted off the field during Saturday’s game after suffering a knee injury while attempting to make a catch in right field.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Miami Marlins infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. drilled a liner toward the wall in right field. Acuna Jr. tried to make a leaping grab on the play but missed the ball and came down awkwardly on his right leg.

Acuna Jr. remained on the ground for several moments as the ball rolled away and teammates rushed over. As Chisholm scored on an inside-the-park homer, Atlanta’s star outfielder was attended to by several players.
The 23-year-old attempted to stand on his own power but almost immediately went back to the ground, grabbing at his right knee. A few moments later, trainers called for assistance and the All-Star slugger left the field on a cart.
