Watch: Chaos continues in Yankees-Blue Jays series with base coach drama, pitcher ejection

It turns out the Toronto Blue Jays announcers might have been on to something when they suspected the New York Yankees of cheating.

They were just a day early and had the wrong player.

Yankees starting pitcher Diego German was ejected after throwing three perfect innings after umpires found a foreign, sticky substance on his hand. It is the second time this season German has run into an issue with that and could be facing a significant suspension from the league.

That happened just 24 hours after the Blue Jays broadcast team was questioning why superstar and reining American League MVP Aaron Judge was repeatedly glancing over at the team's dugout during his at-bats, an accusation that did not sit well with Judge on Tuesday.

That was not the only drama to unfold on Tuesday night (or in the series).

The two teams also got into multiple arguments on where the bases coaches were standing.

It started with the Blue Jays getting mad the Yankees base coaches were standing too far away from the coaching boxes, leading to this exchange.

But it did not stop there! Because you can be sure the second the Blue Jays base coaches stepped out of the box that Aaron Boone was going to have something to say about it. He absolutely did.

Given how tightly contested the American League East is going to be this season where every team is good, this is going to be an intense rivalry.
