Watch: Freddie Freeman already in Gold Glove form with stunning double play
Freddie Freeman had a beautiful play on Opening Day. Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Already with one Gold Glove to his credit, Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman might be on his way to another if Friday is any indication.

As the Braves took on the New York Mets on Opening Day, Freeman robbed Jeff McNeil of potential extra bases. He was holding Brandon Nimmo on first base when McNeil laced a liner down the right-field line. Freeman caught it on a fly, the reached back to first base for the electric double play.

That Freeman is even playing right now is pretty amazing. Recently, he shared that he was scared for his life during a battle with COVID-19. Thankfully, Freeman is healthy once more and doing awesome things on the diamond.
