Watch: Mets' broadcast tries to give viewers nightmares of Braves' Chick-fil-A cow

The New York Mets and Atlanta Braves are in a heated contest for the top of the National League East.

At the time of this writing, the Mets have a less-than-comfortable 3.5-game lead over Atlanta. With just over 40 games to go in the regular season — including four more against the Braves after Wednesday night's game — just about anything can happen.

This thing is going to go down to the wire, which is certain to make both Mets and Braves fans anxious.

If the tight NL East race doesn't do it, though, New York's Wednesday night broadcast in Atlanta will certainly do the trick.

Someone in the camera well thought it would be a good idea to create a horror film using Atlanta's giant Chick-fil-A cow as the main character.

The results? Predictably terrifying.

Come for the baseball, stay for the ballgame. Leave...because of the nightmare fuel.
