Michael Busch helped power the Cubs to a 7-3 win over Cincinnati on Sunday. And in doing so, he handed the Chicago a weekend series win against a division rival.
Busch was 2-for-2 with two walks, a monster two-run home run and three total RBI in the final game of the series. Busch's home run was his eighth of the season, but his first since May 9. His three-RBI game gives him 33 on the year.

Nico Hoerner drove in two runs as part of his 3-for-4 performance and Dansby Swanson and Pete Crow-Armstrong both picked up RBI as well, but Busch was the only Cub able to get the ball out of Wrigley Field.
Starter Jameson Taillon improved his record to 5-3 with the win, only allowing three hits in 6.1 innings of work.
Even though he only managed to strikeout two batters - he had seven in his last outing against the Rockies on May 26, he still maintained enough control of the game for the Cubs to hold the lead and set up the bullpen for success.
Taillon now owns a 3.76 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 12 starts.
Chicago has now won back-to-back games after falling 6-2 to the Reds on Friday and has a three-game set in D.C. against the Nationals on deck.
The Cubs are 37-22 overall and 8-2 in their last 10 games, sitting comfortably with a four-game lead in the National League Central standings.
