Watch: Ronald Acuna Jr. robs Manny Machado of HR with incredible catch

Manny Machado crushed a ball to left-center field Sunday as his San Diego Padres took on the Atlanta Braves, and it would have gone out of the park if not for the incredible effort of center fielder Ronald Acuna jr.

Acuna, who wowed with his opposite-field power during the Home Run Derby, flashed some serious leather while losing his hat to rob Machado of this home run.

That’s a big-time play there, especially in a 0-0 contest.

This Sunday afternoon contest features two of the best young players in the game today. Earlier, Padres phenom Fernando Tatis Jr. pulled off a move right out of the “Matrix” trilogy to somehow escape an otherwise sure out during a pickle.
