MLB's trade deadline has come and gone, but the Chicago White Sox completed another swap Friday. Chicago sent international slot money to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for pitching prospects Aldrin Batista and Maximo Martinez, the club announced.

Both pitchers are low-level prospects, having only made it as high as the Arizona Complex League within the Dodgers farm system.

Batista, a 6-foot-2 right-hander, has a 3-1 record, 3.46 ERA, and 1.23 ERA in 39 innings over 10 outings (seven starts) with the ACL Dodgers this season. The 20-year-old earned ACL Pitcher of the Month honors in June. Batista has a 2.49 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 92 strikeouts in 79.2 innings for his minor league career, which began in the Dominican Summer League last year.

Martinez, also a 6-foot-2 righty, owns a 4.73 ERA and 1.43 WHIP in 26.2 innings over nine games (five starts) this season. The Venezuelan 19-year-old has a 5.43 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and 55 strikeouts in 59.2 innings over parts of three seasons within the Dodgers system.

Upon joining the White Sox organization, Batista will head to Low-A Kannapolis while Martinez latches on with the Sox' ACL squad.
