The New York Yankees had an off day on Thursday, after coming off a series finale victory against the Cincinnati Reds, despite losing two out of three.

New York, while still sitting in first place in the AL East with a solid 46-34 record, have dropped nine of their last 13 games with there offense hitting a little bit of a dry spell.

That said, Yankees superstar Aaron Judge is still putting up astonishing numbers through the teams first 80 games and during their off day, some big news was announced regarding the Yankees captain.

Judge is came in as the leading vote-getter in the American League, which means he gets an automatic bid into the All-Star game and will be one of the starting outfielders in Atlanta.

The Yankees reacted to the news by posting, "All-Rise for the All-Star."

Yankees fans reacted to the news:

"Doesn’t surprise me one bit!" A fan said.

Someone else added, "MY GLORIOUS KING."

Another fan posted, "#1 in Baseball!"

"Captain America is going to hit a homer his year just watch," one more fan commented.

If it weren’t for Cal Raleigh of the Seattle Mariners, there likely wouldn’t even be a debate about who the AL MVP is right now—because Aaron Judge would already have it nearly locked up with the pace he’s on.

Judge is currently batting a league-best .361, has 28 home runs (second behind Raleigh), 63 RBIs, and boasts a staggering 1.180 OPS—the highest in all of the MLB.

He’s coming off a 2024 MVP campaign in which he led the Yankees to the World Series for the first time in his career. Now, he’s not only on pace to win his third MVP award, but he’s also secured his seventh All-Star selection and is likely to earn a fifth Silver Slugger Award by season’s end.
