Aaron Judge is searching for history. The New York Yankees slugger has tied the great Babe Ruth with 60 home runs in a single season, which is both as incredible as it is iconic considering both hitters represented the Bronx.
"The Babe" is a New York and MLB legend. Judge is well on his way to that status, and he could reach it by trying another Yankee's — Rodger Maris' — American League home run record of 61 in a single season. If Judge breaks that 61 mark, which he seems destined to, he'll find himself alone as the American League's best sluggers ever.
For as much as Judge has dominated the long-ball this season, MLB just recently released a handful of stats that New York's center fielder is also dominating at.

It's remarkable that Philadelphia Phillies left fielder Kyle Schwarber is having an incredible season with 40 home runs, and yet is still a whopping 20 dingers behind Judge.
Judge's OPS rankings are also incredible. His 1.126 OPS leads all MLB hitters.
Judge is truly having a historic season.
