You Won’t Believe Where Reds Superstar Elly De La Cruz’s Bat Ended Up

Late in Friday's 3-2 win over the Atlanta Braves. Reds' infielder Elly De La Cruz struck out on swinging and his bat went flying into the net. Not only did it hit the net, but the bat was struck in the net.

De La Cruz is having the best season of his career, slashing .283/.362/.486 with 45 extra-base hits and 29 stolen bases. He was named an All-Star for the second consecutive season.

They continued to play the game with the bat stuck in the netting.

The Reds are 58-53 and 3 1/2 games back of the third and final National League Wild Card spot.
