Aliff Sor Dechapan enters ONE Fight Night 32 with championship aspirations when he squares off against Elmehdi El Jamari on Friday, June 6, inside Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. The 21-year-old sits on the cusp of a World Title opportunity against Prajanchai PK Saenchai for the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title. ONE Fight Night 32 offers him the chance to punch that ticket.
Standing in his path is El Jamari, who carries explosive striking abilities and a deeply personal motivation. The 27-year-old Moroccan made his ONE Championship debut by knocking out Thongpoon PK Saenchai, immediately establishing himself as a legitimate contender. In addition to the title chase, El Jamari is seeking revenge for his older brother Zakaria’s knockout loss to Aliff last August.
The opportunity hasn’t been lost on Aliff Sor Dechapan, who has subjected himself to grueling preparation knowing that World Title gold hangs in the balance. The Sor Dechapan product’s commitment to excellence has been absolute as he fine-tunes the explosive finishing ability. Aliff Sor Dechapan is welcoming the challenge of his Moroccan opposition.

“I’m ready to test his power in this fight. I expect a fierce fight. Anything can happen in a fight. But I’m confident my KO power is better than his. Even if I had no confidence in my knockout power, I’d do my best to make sure it is at its best for this fight. If there’s a chance, with Allah’s grace, I’ll surely knock him out,” Aliff remarked to ONE.
Aliff Sor Dechapan’s pathway to championship contention has been destructive. His current winning streak includes victories over veterans Walter Goncalves and Shamil Adukhov, but it was his 97-second demolition of Zakaria El Jamari that truly announced his arrival as a title threat.
However, the younger El Jamari brother presents a more formidable challenge than his sibling, according to Aliff. While acknowledging stylistic similarities between the brothers, he’s identified key areas where Elmehdi surpasses Zakaria’s abilities. Aliff has no qualms in taking the role of villain for the El Jamari family.
“Yeah, I’ve knocked out his brother. I think both of them have the same style. But, in my opinion, Elmehdi is much more powerful than Zakaria. He’s much more complete than his brother,” Aliff commented.
Aliff stated he is cognizant of the speed and power of his upcoming opponent. He hopes to match that with his own stiff strikes and set Lumpinee Stadium on fire. With both athletes possessing legitimate one-shot knockout power and championship ambitions, ONE Fight Night 32 promises to deliver when these strawweights settle their business in the ring.
ONE Fight Night 32 airs live on Friday, June 6, on Prime Video. The action begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The event is free for all Amazon Prime subscribers in the U.S. and Canada.
