UFC two-division champion Amanda Nunes, the greatest woman in the promotion's history, will defend a title one last time before 2021 arrives.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto reported on Friday that Nunes will put the featherweight strap on the line versus Megan Anderson at the UFC 256 show tentatively scheduled for Dec. 12:

The location and venue for that event haven't yet been announced.
Anderson (11-4-0) is coming off a pair of wins, her most recent against Norma Dumont in late February. After that fight, Anderson called "The Lioness" out:
Be careful what you wish for.
Nunes (20-4-0) hasn't lost in roughly six years and has cleared a pair of divisions en route to earning a spot on a figurative UFC Mount Rushmore. She holds wins over Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey, Valentina Shevchenko (twice), Cris Cyborg, and Holly Holm on her resume, and she thoroughly dismantled Felicia Spencer 50-45, 50-44, 50-44 on June 6.
Nunes will enter the bout an overwhelming favorite to retain her crown.
