Dana White didn't know about Undertaker-Brock Lesnar confrontation at UFC 121?

UFC boss Dana White is a genius as it pertains to booking events and generating interest for fights, but it appears he had nothing to do with one of the most famous post-show altercations in the promotion's history.

After former WWE champion Brock Lesnar lost the UFC heavyweight title to Cain Velasquez at the UFC 121 show in October 2010, he came upon WWE superstar The Undertaker while walking back toward the locker room.

Undertaker, who was being interviewed by (current ESPN reporter) Ariel Helwani at the time, asked Lesnar, "You wanna do it?"

Helwani obtained inside information about that incident while speaking with "The Phenom" this week:

“I was sent there personally to pick a fight," Undertaker explained, hinting that WWE chairman Vince McMahon sent him to the show to confront Lesnar. "I was unaware that Dana had no clue what was going to happen, which I felt terrible about after.

"I thought there had been some discussion between (Dana) and Vince."

'Taker added that he wanted to face Lesnar inside a WWE ring rather than in an octagon for a legitimate MMA bout:

"I was trying to get him back in my world. I'm pretty gutsy, but my days of getting into the Octagon are far past me. I mean, I am smart enough to realize that, but I thought if I could get somebody, obviously, there was such a history there because of his run with WWE, and his success in UFC, this is huge if I could make it happen, so that was what it was all about."

The two combatants eventually met inside the squared circle, and Lesnar ended 'Taker's legendary unbeaten WrestleMania streak at 'Mania 30 in April 2014.
