Jan Blachowicz has challenged Robert Whittaker to a fight after the former middleweight champion mentioned the Polish veteran as a potential opponent.

Blachowicz, who lost to Navajo Stirling via brutal ground-and-pound in under three minutes at UFC Belgrade last month, posted on X to call out Whittaker. "Hey, @robwhittakermma! Let's turn your words into action," he wrote, according to Sherdog.

Whittaker's Light Heavyweight Move Complicates Matchup

Whittaker had reportedly said he would have been interested in facing Blachowicz before the Stirling defeat. The Australian knocked out Nikita Krylov in his 205-pound debut at UFC 329 last month after back-to-back losses at middleweight dropped his record to 27-9.

The matchup presents complications beyond Blachowicz's current skid. Whittaker trains at City Kickboxing alongside light heavyweight champion Carlos Ulberg and Stirling, who stopped Blachowicz on short notice. All three City Kickboxing fighters have said they won't face each other.

Blachowicz is winless in five straight outings since 2022, a stretch that includes two draws. Stirling took the Belgrade main event on less than three weeks' notice, making a 40-day turnaround from a win over Ion Cutelaba.
