A former college baseball pitcher from Seton Hall University is alleging some truly heinous hazing rituals by his former teammates and has claimed that his coach did nothing to stop it.

In an interview with the New York Post, a former player who has chosen to remain anonymous alleged a series of brutal hazing rituals, some of which involved sexual acts and others that left him spitting out blood.

"As his teammates watched, the teen was choked, dragged and body slammed onto his back — then left “spitting blood” in a beating so brutal it dashed his dream of becoming a professional baseball player, he claimed to The Post in an exclusive interview," the New York Post wrote.

The player was reportedly subjected to a "twisted team masturbation ritual and other humiliating hazing incidents." He further claims that he was forced to expose his genitals to other players and called a slur if he refused.

“What’s going on in the locker room is some sick, sick stuff,” the player told the outlet. “I was spitting blood everywhere. It was a feeling that I’m really never gonna forget.”

In another incident, he was forced to participate in violent wrestling with other players where he got beaten up, body slammed and choked.

“I basically got beat up,” he recounted. “I got body slammed, put in a chokehold.”

The player has filed a lawsuit against Seton Hall and head coach Rob Sheppard on grounds that they “failed to investigate or discipline the perpetrators, allowing the toxic culture to persist."

In response to the lawsuit, Seton Hall University has released this statement:

"Seton Hall is firmly committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Upon learning of certain allegations earlier this year, the University promptly retained a nationally respected third-party investigator to conduct an independent and thorough review. As litigation is ongoing, we are unable to comment further at this time."
