Bobby Green-Jim Miller UFC 258 fight off after Green collapses following weigh-in

A lightweight fight between Bobby Green (27-11-1) and Jim Miller (32-15-0) scheduled for the main card of Saturday's UFC 258 pay-per-view is off.

As MMA Junkie's Simon Samano and Marc Raimondi of ESPN reported, Green was removed from the card after he collapsed following the official weigh-ins:

"Bobby Green just collapsed back there," UFC boss Dana White told reporters after both men made weight. "Doctors are looking at him. They’re trying to rehydrate him right now."

No update on Green's condition was available as of early Friday evening.

Green had won three straight contests before he suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Thiago Moises in October. Miller, meanwhile, was looking to return to winning ways after the 37-year-old lost to Vinc Pichel via unanimous decision in August.

There's no word if White will attempt to reschedule the Green-Miller fight for later this year.

While the UFC hasn't disclosed what may have caused Green to collapse, White's comments coupled with the promotion's past suggest the 34-year-old completed a difficult weight-cut ahead of Friday morning. Samano wrote that Green was able to walk to and from the scale without assistance.
