Caio Borralho has agreed to a fight with Khamzat Chimaev after the Russian took to social media calling out four middleweight contenders, suggesting UFC 334 in November at Madison Square Garden or UFC 335 in December at T-Mobile Arena as possible dates.
Chimaev suffered his first career loss to Sean Strickland in May, snapping a 15-fight win streak, and initially pushed for an immediate rematch before broadening his options and calling out Borralho, Strickland, Dricus du Plessis and Nassourdine Imavov.
"Finally someone called my name! My brother u know I love you, and I'm ready MSG November or T Mobile December! Just let me know," Borralho
Borralho is coming off a win over Reinier de Ridder in March, bouncing back from his first UFC loss to Imavov last September. He's said he's nearing the end of recovery from rib surgery and could begin camp soon, with UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden his preferred landing spot against a top-10 opponent. Nothing has been officially booked yet.
