Undefeated Scottish-Australian fighter Casey O'Neill pulled out of her fight against Jessica Eye at UFC 276 after tearing her ACL in practice, she announced Thursday.
"I've spent the past seven days trying to continue on but it's just not possible on a fully torn ACL," O'Neill wrote on Instagram. "I will have surgery, recover and be back better than ever before you know it.
"I'm so sad that I don't get to perform for you guys, I'm so sad that I don't get to fight but I am excited to get healthy and rebuild."

She also has a TKO victory over Antonina Shevchenko, the older sister of UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. O'Neill is currently ranked 13th in the flyweight division and was set to face 12th ranked Eye.
According to multiple reports, 14th ranked Maycee Barber will step in for O'Neill to face Eye. On Saturday, Barber improved to 10-2 with a unanimous decision victory against Montana De La Rosa.
