Ciryl Gane Elevated To Undisputed Heavyweight Champion

Ciryl Gane has been promoted to undisputed heavyweight champion following Tom Aspinall's decision to vacate the title due to ongoing eye injuries, and will make his first defense against Josh Hokit in the UFC 334 main event on November 14 at Madison Square Garden.

Hokit emerged as the frontrunner for the title shot after a strong stoppage win over Derrick Lewis at UFC Freedom 250 in June, with his recent form and outspoken personality helping fast-track the opportunity once Aspinall stepped aside.

In the co-main event, Kayla Harrison returns against Amanda Nunes after a lengthy recovery from cervical spine surgery in January, a fight originally scheduled for earlier this year before Harrison's injury forced a postponement.
