Conor McGregor insists a move away from the UFC is ‘100 percent’ going to happen.
MMA’s biggest star is currently gearing up for his first fight headlining UFC 264 in July 2021.
‘Notorious’ is being lined up to headline the UFC’s unique event at the White House next June.
Still, Conor McGregor already has one eye on the fight after his eagerly anticipated return to MMA.
Conor McGregor became a part-owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship [BKFC] in April 2024.
Since then, the 37-year-old has dropped countless hints about taking off the gloves and changing sports.
McGregor confirmed that he will definitely fight under the BKFC banner before his combat sports career is over.
“I am 100% fighting bare knuckle,” he tweeted on Thursday morning.

This guarantee comes just days after BKFC President Dave Feldman heaped praise on his business partner.
“This is truly the best Conor McGregor I’ve seen,” Feldman said.
“I haven’t known him forever, but I’ve known him for two years, and this is the best I’ve ever seen him.
“If he can maintain his focus, which I have no reason to believe he won’t, he’s got a good shot of being the old Conor McGregor.”
Conor McGregor has demanded a historically huge purse for his UFC White House return.
The former UFC dual-weight champion wants a $200 million package to fight at President Donald Trump’s official residence.
McGregor hopes to earn a $100 million flat fee to headline the once-in-a-lifetime UFC show. The Irish superstar also wants 100 ‘Golden Card’ visas, which usually cost $1 million each and allow their owners to obtain residency in the United States.
“$100million to fight at the White House along with 100 U.S ‘Golden Visas’ for myself and family and friends,” McGregor tweeted after confirming his eventual move to bare-knuckle boxing.
“I look very forward to entertaining the fighting world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!”
