Conor McGregor has revealed what it would take for him to appear on the UFC’s upcoming White House card.

The promotion is set to stage an event at Donald Trump’s official residence in June 2026, a location that’s already generating plenty of attention.

Jon Jones has been pushing hard to headline, but Dana White appears to have different plans.

McGregor is the likely headliner for the event, a point frequently reiterated by the UFC CEO. ‘The Notorious’ has also expressed his desire to return to the octagon at this event, marking his comeback after a prolonged absence.

The only thing left is to agree on financial terms, which could prove tricky after McGregor’s latest post on X (formerly Twitter).

The Irishman is looking for a $200 million package to make his return to the octagon, having last fought in July 2021 when he broke his leg at UFC 264.

McGregor is seeking a flat fee of $100 million. The remainder of his payment would come from 100 “Golden Card” visas, each valued at $1 million, which typically grant U.S. residency.

He tweeted: “$100million to fight at the White House along with 100 U.S ‘Golden Visas’ for myself and family and friends.

“I look very forward to entertaining the fighting world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!”

Who could McGregor face if he returns to the Octagon?

McGregor’s next opponent has been determined for some time.

After coaching opposite Michael Chandler on The Ultimate Fighter in 2023, they were supposed to settle things inside the Octagon.

The fight was originally scheduled for UFC 303 in June 2024, but McGregor had to pull out due to a toe injury.

Since then, Chandler’s career hasn’t gone according to plan, having lost consecutive fights against Charles Oliveira and Paddy Pimblett. But despite those setbacks, McGregor still seems keen on making the bout happen.

Chandler remains just as eager for the fight, consistently calling out Conor McGregor on social media since his last appearance inside the octagon.
