Conor McGregor Threatens KSI & Hints at 'Influencer' Fight

Conor McGregor has added fuel to the influencer boxing world, hinting at a potential showdown with YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI while taking shots at the UFC for blocking his lucrative plans.

Speaking to The Schmo on Thursday, the former UFC champion expressed frustration with the organization after his $250 million boxing fight against Logan Paul was nixed.

“I’m more inclined now for this influencer-(expletive)-whatever you call it because it’s astronomical money,” McGregor said.

McGregor’s comments come after weeks of speculation surrounding a boxing match against Logan Paul, which the mixed martial artist announced himself as taking place in India.

However, UFC CEO Dana White shut down the idea on Jan. 15 while appearing on the "Pardon My Take" podcast, emphasizing McGregor’s contract with the promotion and impending return during 2025.

“No, no [he won’t fight KSI or Logan Paul]," White said. "Hopefully Conor McGregor returns in the fall.”

A week after White's comments, on a bus ride to the U.S. presidential inauguration, the Irishman threatened KSI as well as the Paul brothers.

“Here’s the deal, I’m gonna slap the head off the two of you, and KSI," McGregor said. "All three.

"You're mixers to me, do you understand that? Side jobs, a little side job."

McGregor, 36, has not fought since suffering a leg injury in 2021 against Dustin Poirier. He was initially expected to return to the UFC in 2024, but another injury delayed it ahead of UFC 303.

KSI has not replied to McGregor's latest comments, but he also seemed to agree to take on the former UFC champion on Jan. 8 when he posted a message on X related to a post claiming the two of them would square off with KSI replacing Logan Paul in the reported fight.

“Not rumored. I’m very down,” KSI posted on X.

KSI fought Logan Paul for the last time in 2019 in a rematch to settle a presumed online rivalry with the former emerging victorious by a split decision. The first bout ended in a majority draw.
