Conor McGregor’s third fight with Dustin Poirier was stopped after the first round due to him suffering from a significant leg injury.

The long-time UFC commentator sat on the Octagon floor to speak with the Irishman in the ugly scenes that closed out UFC 264 in 2021.

McGregor recently made reference to this in a video that he posted on Instagram where he worked alongside the Liberty Soup Run non-profit to bring supplies to Ireland’s homeless.

One moment in the video saw him take a seat on the floor next to someone they were helping, which reminded him of that moment inside the cage.

“You know what, I was in the Octagon like this, yeah. I was in the Octagon like this after me last fight and I got back up. We get back up. We get back up on our feet.”
