
The transformation of the White House into a UFC venue is officially underway. Construction crews have begun building the temporary arena that will host UFC Freedom 250 on June 14, with new photos circulating online showing the early stages of setup on the South Lawn at White House.
With less than three weeks until fight night, the White House grounds are beginning to resemble a major sporting venue more than the traditional presidential residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

According to TKO executives, the event is shaping up to be one of the most expensive productions in UFC history. TKO Group Holdings president Mark Shapiro recently acknowledged the budget is a “moving target” expected to exceed $60 million. The UFC reportedly does not expect the event to turn a profit, though sponsorship revenue could offset a large portion of the cost.
