Cris Cyborg To Face The Undefeated Sara Collins
USA TODAY via Imagn Content Services, LLC

Cris Cyborg’s next fight will take place against Sara Collins for the inaugural PFL Women’s Featherweight Championship on December 13.

The fight will take place at PFL Lyon in the LDLC Arena in France. Cyborg is arguably one of the greatest female MMA fighters ever. She has won belts in the UFC, Bellator, Invicta FC, the PFL and Strikeforce. Cris is also the only female Grand Slam Champion, putting her apart from the other MMA greats. She arrives into this championship clash with a victory over Larissa Pacheco for the PFL Super Fight belt in October 2024.

Meanwhile, Collins earned a first-round submission victory over Leah McCourt in September 2024. Collins has yet to taste defeat, but facing Cyborg will be the toughest test. Cyborg’s professional record features only two defeats, one in her 2005 MMA debut and the other against Amanda Nunes in 2018.

Cyborg Reacts

“Starting in my last fight, we started the legacy tour. Now this against Sara Collins. Last one is next year in MMA, but I love my job. I love what I do. For me, it’s amazing. I have the opportunity to defend a fifth title in my career. For me, I look at it like it’s challenge No. 1 and contender No. 1 for the title. It keeps me humble, keeps me training, and I’m very grateful.

“I have my last fight on my contract with PFL next year. This is going to be my final fight in MMA. I’m going to complete 21 years in the sport and probably do some boxing fights next year. I will train hard and hopefully have the opportunity to fight for a title in boxing, but next year is going to be the last year for Cris Cyborg,” Cyborg said
