Dana White shuts down Conor McGregor’s comeback claims

Dana White told assembled reporters that negotiations for his White House card haven’t even started yet.

The UFC CEO insisted Conor McGregor hasn’t signed a deal for his comeback, and isn’t discussing terms with anyone in President Donald Trump‘s team.

“We are still talking about the production and how everything is going to work at the White House,” White said when asked about McGregor’s recent claims about his first UFC fight since July 2021.

“We have not started negotiating any fights for the White House yet, that won’t start until February.

“Conor wants to fight on that card, and you can clearly see Conor is very fired up to fight on that card.

“But nothing is done yet, and no fights are being negotiated with the White House.”

UFC legend Conor McGregor spent most of his night at BKFC 82 in Newark, New Jersey.

The 37-year-old agreed to fight Mike Perry after he beat Jeremy Stephens in the main event.

Post-fight, it appears he watched Alex Pereira KO Magomed Ankalaev in the UFC 320 headliner.

Immediately after the event was over, McGregor took to X to talk up his long-awaited and eagerly anticipated comeback.

“I am motivated beyond belief, now discipline,” he tweeted.

Although a deal isn’t done, according to Dana White, everyone seems to be pushing for the same thing.

It’s now just a matter of time before McGregor’s MMA return is made official for the UFC White House card.
