Adin Ross has claimed that Dana White and top UFC officials are doing all they can to play host to his next boxing event.
The Meta Apex in Las Vegas is host to a number of UFC fight nights, including one that lands on the May 16 date that is supposedly planned for the next Brand Risk Promotions show. Arnold Allen will take on Melquizael Costa at the venue, on an evening dominated by Ronda Rousey’s Netflix comeback in LA.
White has already placed a massive $10,000 bet that the planned main event between influencer Bob Menery and Johnny Manziel – which would be an MMA fight on an otherwise boxing show – will not happen due to the social media star’s history of failed promises.
During a recent stream on his Kick channel, Adin Ross claimed that Dana White and Hunter Campbell are doing their utmost to make sure that he can host his next fight night at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas. The latter, Ross said, is particularly pushing for the idea.
Brand Risk Promotions generally airs live from the streamer’s warehouse in Miami. But it has also travelled to Nashville when they needed to get one-eyed social media star Charleston White sanctioned for a fight with one of the Island Boys.
Now, they could be heading to Nevada with the backing of the men who managed to get Power Slap approved in a state that is widely considered the home of combat sports.
“I want to just say W Dana and W Hunter,” Ross told his fans on a stream. “Hunter is doing everything he can to make this happen at the Apex, which is f—ing insane.
“So Dana and Hunter are so involved that they’re helping me with this. I don’t know how to appreciate that, this next Brand Risk is going to be next level.”
White and Campbell have previously shown their support for Ross’ promotional efforts by attending and even providing commentary for one of his events last year.
