UFC fans have been waiting for Dana White to announce the full card for the organisation’s first-ever event on the White House lawn. That moment is finally set to arrive this Saturday.

While much of the attention has been on UFC 326, there’s plenty of excitement building around June 14, when the promotion heads to Washington D.C. The card is expected to feature a number of title fights, though specifics have been slow to emerge.

The idea was first pitched last summer when President Donald Trump talked up hosting fights at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Since then, fighters like Conor McGregor and Jon Jones have shown interest in being part of the lineup.

Details on who exactly will be fighting haven’t been made public yet, though there were early hints about how many title bouts would be included. More recent updates suggest those expectations might need adjusting.

White announced that he would be revealing the full card on Saturday, and many believe it’ll come during the UFC 326 broadcast.

With just one undisputed title fight in the first three months of 2026, fans were hoping for a lot more.

Back in December, Trump said: “They’re gonna have eight or nine championship fights, the biggest fights they’ve ever had. Every one’s a championship fight, and everyone’s a legendary type of fighter.”

He also added: “(White) is actually holding back fights right now, for six months, so he can do it for June.”

On Friday, though, White posted an image of the card on the ‘War Room’ wall and had some of it covered with paper.

The post showed two championship icons were visible. So that means there will be two title fights in Washington D.C. He ended up deleting the post pretty quickly though.

Fans brace for possible letdown with UFC White House card

Though nothing’s been confirmed, the image White briefly posted and then deleted has already taken some of the shine off the announcement for certain fans.

Many pointed to Trump’s earlier statement about eight or nine title fights, voicing their disappointment that it now appears there may only be two.

One fan posted: “All this hype for 2 title fights.” Another added: “Only 2 title fights, yeah we knew that ‘6 title fights’ was a lie.”

A third wrote: “I can just tell this card is going to be buns bro… We need at least 4 title fights.”

If only two championship bouts are confirmed, it would add another issue to a card already facing setbacks. White mentioned on Friday night that one planned fight had been cancelled.

Cameras appeared to catch the matchmaking team receiving the news during ceremonial weigh-ins. Mick Maynard’s visible frustration seemed to reflect how much of a setback this could be for the event.
