Daniel Cormier is open to having one last dance with Jon Jones in 2026.

The bitter rivals famously fought twice for the UFC light heavyweight title.

Jon Jones outpointed ‘DC’ over five rounds when they first met at UFC 182 in January 2015.

Two years later, Daniel Cormier was knocked out in their UFC 214 rematch. Post-fight, it was revealed that ‘Bones’ had tested positive for turinabol metabolite and the result was overturned to a no-contest.

Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier 3 could be in boxing

Years after their bitter feud inside the Octagon, Cormier and Jones recently reunited for a coaching battle. They went head-to-head on ALF Reality, a Russian reality series that is similar to The Ultimate Fighter.

During their time on set in Thailand, the UFC legends frequently clashed about their two-fight series.

Daniel Cormier says he agreed to settle their beef once and for all under boxing rules.

“A lot of time we were kind of just arguing,” the 46-year-old said of his recent reality TV stint with Jon Jones.

“There were multiple occasions where Jones and I argued about fighting each other in a boxing match, to which I agreed.”

“We just argued. It’s what happens whenever we are around each other.

“It’s also hard not to continue to challenge each other.

“There were multiple occasions in the midst of the time spent together where Jones and I argued about fighting each other in a boxing match, to which I agreed to do, if it’s just boxing.

Wrestling match likely

Earlier this week, Daniel Cormier threatened to ‘kick Jon Jones’ ass’ in a wrestling match.

The UFC Hall of Famer says they are more likely to wrestle than to box each other in 2026.

“The one that caught fire the most was the wrestling thing,” Cormier added.

“I said I would wrestle him in Real American Freestyle wrestling, and I would beat him.

“That stems from Jon earlier saying, ‘I would wrestle Daniel in an exhibition or a grappling match for charity.’
