Darren Till expects ‘good friend’ Khamzat Chimaev to finish Robert Whittaker in first ever Saudi Arabia UFC event

Darren Till has given his predictions for the upcoming middleweight bout between Khamzat Chimaev and Robert Whittaker. The hype around the fight is massive given both fighters are extremely popular. While many fight fans are divided over who will emerge victorious, Till has no doubts about his friend.

Till recently gave an interview to The Mac Life where he was asked about Whittaker vs. Chimaev. While responding to the question, Till chose Khamzat Chimaev to win in the early rounds.

Before his break from fighting, Till had trained a lot with Khamzat Chimaev. Both fighters created a wholesome bond that became extremely popular among fight fans. However, Till didn’t keep up with Chimaev’s rise but it seems like he’s still a good friend to the Russian.

Darren Till gives props to Whittaker but still thinks Khamzat is gonna finish him in round 2.

Chimaev vs. Whittaker is slated to take place next month at the much anticipated UFC Saudi Arabia Fight Night. While Chimaev is looking forward to keeping his winning streak, Robert Whittaker has plans to stop the hype train.

Robert Whittaker plans to get a quick finish on Khamzat Chimaev

Robert Whittaker bounced back from his previous loss by beating Paulo Costa in his last bout. Ahead of the clash against Khamzat Chimaev, the Aussie has immense respect for his opponent. However, the former champion is sure that he has better striking than the ‘Borz’.

Whittaker recently did an interview with mainevent, where he talked about Chimaev wrestling and how he plans to neutralize it.

I’m ready for the wrestling exchanges. When he does shoot, make sure that I out-scramble him. Chimaev is well known for dominating his opponents, however in his last bout, fans questioned his ability to fight five whole rounds. Nevertheless, both fighters are true competitors and fans are expecting an entertaining bout.
