Dillon Danis has been given a chance to settle a score.

Back in November, he got into it with members of Islam Makhachev’s team while attending UFC 322 at Madison Square Garden.

The lifetime ban from UFC following the crowd brawl was not the only thing that affected his career.

His planned MMA comeback was also scrapped last month when he was not medically cleared to fight at a Misfits event in Dubai.

A potential silver lining for the 32-year-old is the possibility of a high-paying fight against a current UFC competitor.

Dillon Danis and Magomed Zaynukov receive grappling match offer from Hype FC

There has still not been any word on disciplinary action for Danis and the others involved in the UFC 322 brawl, despite a public statement from New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

One person whose career could be affected by the fallout is Magomed Zaynukov. He has not yet made his UFC debut after earning a contract in October.

Zaynukov later criticised Danis, saying he should be held accountable for his comments.

Now, a promotion has stepped in to offer both fighters a chance to meet again, this time in a grappling match, with promises of “record amounts of money for grappling.”

Hype Fighting Championship, the promotion that recently saw a draw between Arman Tsarukyan and Shara Magomedov, is aiming to host a bout between Danis and Zaynukov – better known to fans as ‘John Pork’ – to resolve their ongoing feud.

“We are offering the solution for this conflict in the grappling match in neutral zone in Armenia at the stadium HYPE FC event,” Hype FC posted on Instagram.

Hype FC tried to match Tom Hardy against Arman Tsarukyan

Hype FC recently posted screenshots showing they had reached out to Tom Hardy about a grappling match with Tsarukyan.

The actor thanked them for the offer but said he could not fit it into his schedule.

Tsarukyan confirmed this in an interview with Helen Yee Sports, explaining that while the offer was real, filming commitments prevented Hardy from taking part.

“Yeah, I got that offer, but he [Tom Hardy] couldn’t come because he was filming something,” ‘Ahalkalakets’ explained.

“I don’t know, he’s filming, he’s busy. So it didn’t happen, but maybe in the future – why not? I’m down for everybody, for big names.”
