Conor McGregor watched along from home as his fight league travelled to South Dakota.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s latest event took place at the Legendary Buffalo Chip on Saturday night.

Soon after BKFC 79 kicked off, Conor McGregor took to social media to rave about a preliminary bout.

It featured two cruiserweights who had been beefing on Facebook ahead of their grudge match.

Cody Kerr and Dillon Blaydon settled their beef the old-fashioned way at BKFC 79.

Kerr landed a barrage of punches that floored his rival in the first minute of round one.

Blaydon was fully conscious and managed to get up to one knee before refusing to fight on.

The fight was waved off when he repeatedly shook his head no when asked if he wanted to continue.

Post-fight, Kerr accused his opponent of sending threatening pre-fight messages.

McGregor was quick to share his thoughts on the fight, its finish, and the Facebook feud.

“Wild! @bareknucklefc. Opponent was sending threats on Facebook in the build up,” he tweeted.

“Took a smack of raw knuckle and one big one between the eyes and then he didn’t want to know anymore! Don’t send threats on the book’ if ya can’t back it up!

Conor McGregor’s UFC comeback

Conor McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg in a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

Despite constantly talking up a return, it seems highly unlikely that the Irishman will fight in 2025.

However, he has recently officially re-entered the drug testing pool to move his comeback one step closer.

McGregor has expressed an interest in competing on the UFC White House card on July 4, 2026.

That’s a long way off, and only time will tell if McGregor will ever fight inside the Octagon again.
