The ninth season of Dana White's Contender Series entered its fourth week on Tuesday hosting a five-bout fight card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
The event was headlined by a welterweight bout between Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani and Jack Congdon. It took Lebosnoyani 68 seconds to stop Congdon with a head kick. The knockout win earned "Mufasa" a UFC contract.
Following the event, UFC CEO Dana White announced that four fighters had earned contracts in mixed martial arts' biggest promotion. Joining Lebosnoyani was middleweight Cezary Oleksiejczuk, lightweight Mandel Nallo, and featherweight Tommy McMillen.
