Former strongman star Eddie Hall is seemingly more than confident in continuing his recent run of form in mixed martial arts against the brash Dillon Danis.

Linked with a second professional mixed martial arts outing before too long, British fan-favorite Eddie Hall has played up a catchweight clash with former Bellator MMA star Dillon Daniswith the duo agreeing to a matchup at a 299lbs limit.

And despite limited competition in combat sports, Hall infamously took part in the ‘biggest’ heavyweight boxing match of all-time, dropping a decision loss to Hafthor Bjornsson three years ago.

Paired with the weight difference and his sheer stature compared to Danis, Hall is far less worried about the grappling of the Jiu-Jitsu ace than the former should be of his formidable power.

Eddie Hall speculates Dillon Danis will suffer with his power

Of course, sharing the mats with incoming UFC 321 headliner and heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall recently, Hall is no stranger to competing against sizable opposition.

Just earlier this year, the former strongman made his pro MMA debut, taking on decorated Polish favorite Mariuz Pudzianowski.

And folding the veteran star in just 30 seconds, Hall recorded a devastating knockout win at KSW 105 in front of a hostile crowd.

Confirming his impending clash with Danis, Hall boldly played down the former’s grappling expertise, highlighting his punching power.

“Some say Dillon’s world class jiu-jitsu will be too much for me. Others say he’s never felt a real punch and I’ve got the hardest recorded punch on the planet. FACT,” Hall posted on social media accompanied by new training footage.

Eddie Hall’s staggering PowerKube record

Showing off his sheer power, Newcastle star Hall took on the challenge of the infamous PowerKube at the UFC PI last year.

And tasked with beating prior records set by the likes of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, Hall emerged with flying colors.

Also dislodging the 191,796 record unit strike from Brazilian megastar Alex Pereira, Hall recorded a decimating score of 208,901 units.
