Undefeated UFC featherweight Movsar Evloev says women should be removed from the promotion because their fights are unwatchable.
Evloev, who challenges Alex Volkanovski for the 145-pound title at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi next month, told MMA Junkie he avoids women's bouts entirely. "I don't watch women's fights," he said, per MMA Mania. "I can't watch it, it's so hard." He cited one exception — the Joanna Jedrzejczyk-Rose Namajunas rematch — before adding that a separate organisation might be the answer.
The comments carry a twist. Evloev has gone 10 fights in the UFC without a single finish, a run that delayed his title shot while matchmakers cycled through more active contenders. Critics have labelled his wrestling-heavy style among the least exciting in the division.
Evloev takes a 20-0 record into the October showdown with Volkanovski, who sits at 28-4. The champion has promised a striking battle and suggested the Russian will be forced to trade on the feet. Evloev is expected to pursue takedowns early, with oddsmakers rating the bout a coin flip.
UFC 333 takes place in Abu Dhabi on October 26.
