Michael Chandler won’t be needing a significant sum to appear on stream with the controversial Adin Ross.
As he gears up for his maiden UFC title challenge against Dricus du Plessis on August 16, Khamzat Chimaev received an offer from Ross.
The 24-year-old influencer made the revelation during the latest stream on his Kick channel, claiming that ‘Borz’ had requested $700,000 for an appearance after Ross’ team reached out.
It hasn’t taken long for another prominent UFC name to jump in and attempt to fill Chimaev’s planned spot — but his offer has not gotten the reception he would have hoped for.
When Chimaev challenges Du Plessis at UFC 319, he will look to do what Michael Chandler has been unable to in his Octagon career.
While Chandler came close to beating Charles Oliveira in their 2022 title fight, he has since remained far from a second shot after plenty of setbacks. His most recent battering at the hands of Paddy Pimblett has left ‘Iron’ with a 2-5 record in the UFC.
That has not stopped the ex-Bellator champion from pursuing big names and expecting big fights. His latest callout, however, was for a position on stream alongside Ross.
After seeing talk of Chimaev’s extortionate demand, Chandler jumped in and told Ross that he would take the spot intended for the Chechen for a significantly lower sum.
“Yo @adinross I’ll go your stream for wayyy less than $700k (phone emoji),” he wrote on X.

The former Bellator champion has long been a polarizing figure in the UFC, largely owing to a confident demeanor that many have said doesn’t get backed up inside the cage at this stage in his career.
Chandler’s failed wait for Conor McGregor drew further mockery from some in the MMA fanbase. With that in mind, it was perhaps to be expected that his offer to Ross would be greeted with similar hate.
“This comes off as so desperate, man. It’s a bad look.”
“Please have some shame, man.”
“No one wants to see that.”
“Of course you would.”
“Anything for a check at your age huh.”
“This is genuinely tragic. Scrambled beg on toast.”
“Begging McGregor was bad but now Adin Ross.”
“Adin does not pay anyone to go on stream, you are getting $0.”

But Chandler did have a select few supporting his offer.
“I respect the hustle.”
“WE NEED IT.”
“See you on the stream!”
“The only way we get Chandler v Conor.”
“God forbid a man hustles.”
