Following his successful transition to the PFL, Francis Ngannou wants to solidify his claim to being the best heavyweight in the world with a cross-promotional super fight.

Many see Jon Jones as the top of the food chain; his latest performance only adds to those claims. Jones dismantled a 42-year-old Stipe Miocic with ease but now faces a real dilemma for his next outing.

'Bones' isn't ready to retire just yet, but instead of unifying the UFC heavyweight titles, he is hoping to handpick his next opponent.

Jon Jones has no interest in Tom Aspinall and made his thoughts clear in a post on X.

"Crazy how being called a 'duck' pays better than most of you internet tough guys will make in a lifetime," Jones said.

"Two fights in four years and still one of the biggest names in the sport? That's not ducking, that's winning."

"God's blessings hit different, stay mad."

In response to Jones' post, Francis Ngannou reinstated his interest in the fight.

"Blessings make haters uncomfortable," Ngannou responded. "But they can't change it."

"There's only one fight, the right fight that will multiply your blessings. Ngannou vs. Jones."

Jon Jones has received backlash from fans for allegedly ducking the title unification bout with Tom Aspinall.

While signs pointed toward the heavyweight affair potentially happening, Jones has since shut down those reports.

Francis Ngannou secured a devastating win over Renan Ferreira last time out. 'The Predator' has several options for who to fight next, with boxing reports surfacing once again.

With so much uncertainty surrounding the UFC heavyweight division at present, there are multiple directions the promotion can proceed.

Despite the many contradicting reports, Tom Aspinall still believes he will be given his dream fight opportunity. The Brit teased 'big news' after a meeting with the bosses post-UFC 309.
